    HELLO FROM LINOLNSHIRE

Hi, I have already done this before on the previos version of this site, but all evidense of it seems to have disappeared, so I will try again.

I am an absolute cnc nut, but have not yet progressed too far.I have a pcb drill/router for which I paid a fortune several years ago, but  it

would have been of more use as a mooring weight!!! Ihave now managed to get the machine  modified and fitted with a new controller , have

learned to use the cadcam system and at last I have a cnc router that performs  very well ,but I would like a router with a bigger work area.

I also have a DENFORD type mill and a lathe which I am in the process of converting to run from a pc using modern software.I intend to use a

seperate controller for the mill, but as I want to include a screw cutting facility on the lathe I thought it may be wise (and more economical) to use MACH for this

purpose. I would be pleased to hear from or perhaps even meet any likeminded person with similar interests.

    Regards,GEOFF.
